The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has employed Spears Enterprises for appraisal of real estate involved in highway widening projects and condemnation proceedings in the past. At present, Spears Enterprises concentrates on employment by landowners in their battle for fair value from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. The Federal Aviation Agency has also employed Spears Enterprises for appraisals involving airport expansion projects.
